AnuragEdge LMS is an educational platform developed as part of a college mini project to simulate real-world online learning systems. We respect the privacy of users interacting with the platform and are committed to protecting any personal data collected during its use.
We collect the following basic information from users:
Full Name
Email Address
User Role (Student, Instructor, Admin)
Enrolled Courses
Completion Status & Certificate Eligibility
No sensitive personal or financial data is collected or stored.
The data collected is used strictly for academic and functional purposes within the platform:
To manage user accounts and login sessions
To allow enrollment in courses and track progress
To generate certificates of completion
To simulate instructor-student interaction in an LMS environment
No user data is shared, sold, or transmitted to any third parties.
All data is stored in a secure MySQL database on a local or demo server. While this platform is not hosted commercially, reasonable security practices such as hashed passwords and role-based access control are implemented.
AnuragEdge LMS uses session cookies to maintain login states during navigation. No tracking, behavioral profiling, or third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) are active in this academic version.
As this is a demo project:
Users can contact the admin to update or delete their account.
Data may be reset by the admin as part of demonstration or testing.
This platform is not a live or production-grade LMS. It is a student-built model intended for academic evaluation only. No real-world data privacy compliance (such as GDPR or CCPA) is applicable.
